Jacqueline hosted the technical stage at African Energy Week (AEW) 2024 on behalf of the African Energy Chamber, ensuring seamless event execution. She managed the agenda, collaborated with technical teams, and facilitated high-level discussions with Africa’s energy elite and VIP dignitaries on energy development and sustainability.

Appointment Jacqueline was appointed Associate Director for the Energy & Natural Resources business and UK Energy Markets Lead at a global consultancy with a $1 billion market cap and over 4,000 employees.

As part of International Women in Engineering Day 2024, the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) announced Jacqueline as part of the 2024 Top 50 Women in Engineering (WE50) awards. The theme Enhanced By Engineering showcases the powerful impact made by women engineers and how their work improves lives.

Jacqueline served as the Lead of the AFBE-UK Leadership Team, where she spearheaded the Transcend programme and the Leadership Talk Series. She concluded her tenure in December 2024, passing the leadership role on to her successor, Tolu Falade.

Jacqueline was invited to speak at the 26th World Energy Congress in Rotterdam on the theme ”Redesigning Energy: People and the Planet”.

Global Sustainable Network (GSN), a global initiative established by bp (British Petroleum) with the aim of fostering sustainability in various sectors. It is focused on driving the energy transition and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They announced Jacqueline as the Global Sustainability Network Lead (Sub Saharan Africa).

Jacqueline was featured on STV News as an energy commentator, discussing ‘Sustainable Scotland: Reducing Emissions from our Energy’.

Jacqueline was announced as the official United Nations delegate, joining the UN commissions on the status of Women (CSW67) on behalf of UN Women UK.

World Energy Council, A united nations accredited global energy body for thought leadership with members across over 60 countries announced Jacqueline as a Global Future Energy Leader.

As the Board member and liaison officer, Jacqueline oversaw the partnership between AFBE-UK and BBC Scotland to push forward their diversity, equity and inclusion strategy.
